Our Story
Sherrille Riley is a renowned beauty expert with an exceptional career spanning over two decades in the professional beauty industry. With her commitment to excellence and passion for empowering others, Sherrille has solidified her position as a leading authority in beauty.
Sherrille began her stellar career in beauty twenty seven years ago. As a child, she journeyed from Jamaica to the UK with her family, eventually settling in northern England. Enchanted by the allure of the big city, she left Yorkshire at 19, setting her sights on London to chase her dream of becoming a sought-after beautician.
Sherrille is from a background of female entrepreneurs, and watched her mother, grandmother and great aunt find their own successful businesses. Inspired by what she had seen them achieve, she decided to set up on her own. After noticing that regular clients tended to request eyebrow and nail nail care treatments every three weeks, she decided to create a luxurious destination combining top tier service and expertise in these two areas: and with that, Nails & Brows Mayfair was born in 2014, becoming a great success.

Beauty Edit Mayfair In June 2017, Sherrille Riley launched an inclusive brow collection designed to help clients create natural, defined brows at home. Frustrated by the lack of true-to-tone shades, Riley developed a bespoke range of highly pigmented brow colors, praised for their natural look and consistent tones without unwanted undertones. Working with German formulators, she crafted products that deliver effortless, groomed brows in shades suitable for all, including blonde, brunette, and deep brown for diverse skin tones. In line with Nails & Brows’ values, Beauty Edit Mayfair’s luxurious packaging is eco-friendly, reflecting Riley’s commitment to natural, sustainable beauty.
Launched September 2023, Sherrille Riley introducedBeauty Edit Mayfair—the ultimate destination for clean beauty enthusiasts in London. Featuring a curated selection of high-quality cosmetics, skincare, haircare, and fragrance from renowned and niche brands like Charlotte Mensah, Darling Sun, and Kure Bazaar, it promises an unmatched shopping experience. With personalized consultations from expert advisors and a strong commitment to sustainable beauty, the store encourages conscious consumer choices. Beauty Edit Mayfair also hosts workshops and events with industry experts, offering an immersive, educational experience. Reflecting on the launch, Riley shared, "Growing up in Jamaica, I saw the impact of mindless consumerism. I wanted to create a space that proves beauty can be both luxurious and mindful."
