What is the AI Skin Analysis?

The AI Skin Analysis is a 15 minute appointment at Beauty Edit Mayfair in which a camera reads eight measures of skin health: sensitivity, pigmentation, wrinkles, deep spots, pores, acne, UV damage and skin age. It costs £55, redeemable in full against products bought that day.

What the camera reads

Measure	What it tells you
Sensitivity	How reactive your skin is, and whether the barrier is compromised
Pigmentation	Uneven tone and marks at the surface
Wrinkles	Lines, and where they are setting in
Deep spots	Pigment sitting below the surface, before it is visible
Pores	Size and congestion across the face
Acne	Active breakouts and where they cluster
UV damage	Accumulated sun damage, including what you cannot yet see
Skin age	How your skin reads against your actual age

The camera does not read hydration or surface texture. Anything it cannot see, your facialist asks you about.

What happens in the fifteen minutes

The scan itself takes two minutes. The rest of the appointment is the part that matters.

Your facialist takes the reading, sets it against what you already use and how your skin behaves through the year, and tells you what to change. Sometimes that is one product. Sometimes it is the order you apply them in.

You are not sold a routine. You are shown the reading and told honestly what would move it.

The £55

The appointment costs £55, and it comes back to you as credit against anything you buy that day. Buy a serum on the strength of your reading and the analysis has cost you nothing.

Who it suits

Anyone with a shelf of products and no routine. Anyone whose skin has changed and has not been told why. Anyone about to spend money on skincare who would rather spend it on the right thing.

Questions we are asked

Is the £55 fee redeemable?

Yes, in full. The £55 comes back to you as credit against anything you buy at 33 Berkeley Street on the day of your appointment. It is not redeemable against a future visit or against treatments.

How long does the appointment take?

Fifteen minutes. The scan is two of them and the other thirteen are spent going through the reading with your facialist, which is the part that changes what you buy.

Do I need to take my makeup off?

Yes. The camera reads skin, not what is on it. Come bare faced, or arrive a few minutes early and we will take it off for you.

How long do the results take?

They are on screen immediately, and you go through them with your facialist there and then.

Can I book it with a facial?

Yes. It is available as an add-on to any Express or Signature facial, and that is the sensible way to take your first one.

Can I buy it for someone else?

Yes. The AI Skin Analysis voucher is available online and valid for 12 months.
