Altesse Studio Beaute Care Hairbrush

The care step in the Altesse Beauté ritual. Made in France from 100% first cut boar bristles, set into a hand finished olive wood head.

The bristle arrangement is worked differently here, spaced and angled to get through density rather than skate over it, so it reaches the scalp on thick, wavy and curly hair without pulling the curl out of shape. Boar bristle sits close to keratin in structure, so it lifts the natural oils at the root and carries them the length of the hair. Frizz settles, shine builds, and washes can be spaced further apart. Olive wood is naturally antistatic, so there is no flyaway lift as you brush.

THE RITUAL
Tilt the head forward and brush from the nape up to the crown to wake the scalp and lift the roots. Then straighten and brush from root to tip to smooth and finish. On curls, work in sections and detangle first.

CARE
Remove loose hair from between the bristles. Dip in lukewarm, lightly soapy water, massage the bristles gently, rinse and dry flat with the bristles facing down. Once a month is enough.
