How to use it
- Brush straightWork from roots to ends, twenty five strokes with the head held straight.
- Tilt and repeatTwenty five strokes tilted right, twenty five tilted left, then twenty five forward.
- Clean it monthlyDip in lukewarm, lightly soapy water, massage the bristles, rinse and dry flat with the bristles facing down.

What are the bristles made of?
100% first cut boar, hand tied. Their structure is close to keratin, so they lift the scalp's natural oils and carry them down the lengths.
What hair does it suit?
The bristles are hand tied in an arrangement designed to suit every hair type, from the finest to the curliest.
How is it made?
Entirely by hand. It is shaped, drilled and bristled by artisans in Picardy using 19th century technique.
How do I clean it?
Remove loose hair from between the bristles. Dip the brush in lukewarm, lightly soapy water, massage the bristles gently, rinse and dry flat with the bristles facing down. Once a month is enough.
How do I look after the handle?
When the olive wood begins to lighten, wipe the handle with two drops of vegetable oil on a soft cloth.

Altesse Studio brushes are made in France and carry Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant certification. Each one is shaped, drilled and bristled by hand in Picardy, in workshops that have carried the trade for six generations.
