For hair that looks dull, a brush of first cut boar bristles that lifts your scalp's natural oils and carries them down the lengths.
Made entirely by hand in France, with an olive wood handle hand oiled with linseed oil. The bristles are hand tied to suit hair from fine to very curly.

How to use
- Brush from roots to ends, twenty five strokes with your head held straight.
- Then twenty five strokes tilted right, twenty five tilted left and twenty five forward.
- Clean it once a month: dip in lukewarm, lightly soapy water, massage the bristles, rinse and dry flat with the bristles facing down.

L 19cm x W 5cm. 100% first cut boar bristles, hand tied. Olive wood handle, hand oiled with linseed oil and naturally antistatic. Repairable for life, with a numbered certificate of authenticity, presented in a hinged case made from recycled plastic.

What are the bristles made of?
100% first cut boar, hand tied. Their structure is close to keratin, so they lift the scalp's natural oils and carry them down the lengths.

The bristles are hand tied in an arrangement designed to suit every hair type, from fine to very curly.
How is it made?
Entirely by hand. It is shaped, drilled and bristled by artisans in Picardy using 19th century technique.
How do I clean it?
Remove loose hair from between the bristles. Dip the brush in lukewarm, lightly soapy water, massage the bristles gently, rinse and dry flat with the bristles facing down. Once a month is enough.
How do I look after the handle?
When the olive wood begins to lighten, wipe the handle with two drops of vegetable oil on a soft cloth.

Altesse Studio has made brushes in France since 1875 and carries Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant certification. Each Prestige brush is shaped, drilled and bristled by hand in Picardy, in workshops that have carried the trade for six generations.
